How to make your way through Deathtouched Catacombs – Deathtouched Catacombs can be accessed from the Saintsbridge Site of Grace in north Limgrave. From here, head west up the hill (not along the bridge). Before you reach the camp atop this hill, you want to attempt to scale the cliffs on your right,
- This will require a U-turn, and the catacombs are only a short distance up here.
- After having U-turned along the path, Deathtouched Catacombs is just up ahead.
- As you go up the cliff, there will soon be a spectral figure sat beside a door on your left.
- Open the door, and you’ve found the Deathtouched Catacombs.
Grab the Grace and head down the stairs. Up ahead is a locked door, and some Root Resin beside it. Go down the stairs on your left and be prepared to take on some skeletons while you’re down here. Go down the next set of stairs and U-turn to go underneath them first so that you can grab the Grave Glovewort,
- Almost directly behind you will be a skeleton, and a passageway to the left of them.
- Deathtouched Catacombs is dimly lit, so you might want to use your lantern.
- Through the passageway is a small room with more skeletons, Grave Glovewort, and Grave Violet,
- There is also another passage to the left of the room.
Through here, you can loot the Uchigatana off the corpse ahead, and acquire some more Grave Glovewort, The Uchigatana can be found on the corpse in front of my Elden Ring character here (I looted it earlier in my playthrough). Jump down from the platform you’re on, take caution of the skeletons, and grab the Grave Glovewort down here before advancing into the next room.
- Activate the lever in the next room and grab the Grave Glovewort,
- Turn around, and their is a corpse to the left of the doorway which you can loot a Bloodrose from.
- Advance through the prior room and up the stairs ahead, grabbing the Grave Glovewort along the way.
- Go up the next set of stairs to the left and you’ll be at the locked door from earlier.
Continue ahead to traverse the yellow mist and face off with the Black Knife Assassin of Deathtouched Catacombs.

How do I access War-Dead Catacombs?
How to make your way through War-Dead Catacombs – First things first, the War-Dead Catacombs can only be accessed after you have fought with and felled Starscourge Radahn, While at Radahn’s huge boss arena, you’ll need to travel to the northernmost corner to locate the catacombs. Collect the Site of Grace and go down the stairs. You’ll come to a room where various spectral figures of Radahn’s Soldiers and Cleanrot Knights are fighting each other. Ignore them, try to avoid catching their attention, and go up the stairs on your left.
The first room of War Dead Catacombs has two of Elden Ring’s enemies fighting each other. If you follow the stairs round to another set of stairs, you can collect a piece of Grave Glovewort and then jump down to the lower level. Down here, there’s a lot of Scarlet Rot.
You can drop down to the lower level of War-Dead Catacombs from here. There’ll be more spectral enemies down here, but also a chest containing the Collapsing Stars spell. If you explore the rest of the room, a Golden Rune can be looted from the corpse in the middle, while a Silver Pickled Fowl Foot can be looted from the corpse in a far corner of the room.
Through this room in War-Dead Catacombs are Fanged Imps and Grave Glovewort. Go back into the room of rot, and head forward and slightly right towards the set of stairs. Go up these and you’ll find yourself in the first room where the spectral knights and soldiers were fighting each other.
The corpse in the middle of the room has x3 Magic Grease to loot, then, go up the stairs to in the far right corner of the room. Watch out for the soldier up here who will try to fire gravity magic projectiles at you, and go down the passage to your left. Take caution of the soldiers again, and there will be another archer at the end of the passage to take care of.
Continue along this route to reach another room with soldiers and Grave Glovewort, From here, continue straight on rather than going along the passage to the right. Take caution of the spectral archers of War-Dead Catacombs. At the end of the next room, there’ll be another soldier to fell, but also more Grave Glovewort and an abundance of Grave Violet, Now, go back on yourself and to the left, you can jump through a small window and down into another room.
Leave the small room and take a left. Once again, you’ll find yourself in the first room of the dungeon, and there’ll be some more Grave Glovewort, Pull the lever to your left and collect the Grave Violet here. Next, jump down from the lever and run directly to the end of the room and down the stairs. Through the next door will be the dungeon boss, a Putrid Tree Spirit.

What boss is at Deathtouched Catacombs?
Black Knife Assassin (Deathtouched Catacombs Boss) – Elden Ring Wiki Guide – IGN The Black Knife Assassin is one of the miniboss Foes you can fight in one of the optional Limgrave Dungeons in Elden Ring. The Black Knife Assassin can be found in the, a small optional dungeon in the Limgrave Region, located along a ridge just before the Saintsbridge leading to East Limgrave.
- Advertisement A humanoid foe, the Assassin begins the fight with depleted health.
- As a rule of thumb, the Assassin likes to keep their distance from you.
- On approach, they have the tendency to do a ghostly dash backwards, meaning it’s unlikely that you’ll get more than a couple hits in at a time.
- The Assassin will often open with a spin attack, where they press their blade to the floor and perform a 36-degree spin, finishing with a swipe.
Due to the overall slow movement speed of the Assassin in comparison to your player character, this attack can be dodged by walking backwards. A staple move is a dash backwards or to the side, leading directly into a lunge with the blade. Within a combo, this is preceded by two slashes, one left and one right. The slashes can be blocked, parried or dodge-rolled, whilst rolling is the best course of action for the lunge.
Be careful not to spam the dodge roll though, as there is a slight delay from the dash into the lunge so you could get caught out if you roll too early. The rest of the fight remains uneventful, resorting to a battle of attrition – get in a couple of hits before the Assassin dashes away, roll out of the way of the lunges and you’ll eventually best your enemy.
The only variation to be aware of is that as the Assassin drops to around ⅓ of their health, the second slash prior to the dash lunge is delayed by a second or so, requiring you to correct your dodge timing – that being said, you should be close enough to finishing the fight where this won’t be encountered more than once or twice.

How do you open the black door in catacombs?
Black Knife Catacombs: Walkthrough – Head down the stairs for a Site of Grace and then left down more stairs. Beware the Skeletons and be sure to strike them when they crumble to ensure they don’t reanimate. At the end of the corridor is a locked door, so take the left down more stairs, with more Skeletons.
These are protected by a Sorcerer, so focus on defeating him around the corner. There’s an Imp Statue on the left you can open with a Stonesword Key with the reward being Rosus’ Axe, Go around the corner to the guillotine room with more Skeletons, Ride the second guillotine up to the upstairs opening, and deal with a Sorcerer in the upstairs corridor to kill the Skeletons quickly.
Follow the corridor to the end for the first Mist Gate, with the Black Knife Assassin on the other side. Once defeated, retrace your steps to the corridor shortly before the Black Knife Assassin and fall down the hole on the left. There’s a lever here you can pull to open the door at the very beginning of the Black Knife Catacombs,

How do you open the catacombs door cliff bottom?
Cliffbottom Catacombs Walkthrough – As you head down past the Site of Grace, you’ll ride a lift down into the tombs. Head forward to face a room with two Fanged Imps. One in the center of the room and one immediately to your right as you enter. Grab the Root Resin from across the room and the Grave Violet on the left next to the stairs leading down.
Down the steps you’ll find the locked doors and a Summoning Pool. Turn right down the next set of steps and turn left to face another Imp, this time wielding a two-handed weapon. Whilst this results in heavier blows if you get hit, you can take advantage of the longer wind-ups to perform critical strikes against it.
Proceeding down the hallway, grab the Grave Glovewort (2) and down the steps in the room beyond, being careful not to drop off the edges. Continue straight down the hallway, ensuring you avoid the pressure plate in the center of the walkway; if triggered a spectral arrows will fire from the end of the hallway in 3 bursts (which can be dodge-rolled).
A Fanged Imp will also drop down from the ceiling to face you, so ensure to not backstep onto the pressure plate should you need to retreat and create some space. At the end of the hallway there is a right turn, and as you arrive an Imp will spring from the corner and attack you. Once defeated, it will drop the Forked Hatchet weapon.
You’ll emerge in a room with a staircase to the left and a sheltered portion at the back of the room on the right. In the sheltered portion, a very aggressive troll lies asleep, which will awake when approached. The only item of note worth venturing there for is a Ghost Glovewort (3) plant against the back wall.
- Should you aggro the troll, be conservative with your attacks, and dodge-roll everything.
- At the end of its combos, which often end in a kick followed by an axe sweep, you have an opportunity to get in behind it and critical strike.
- Up the steps on the right side of the room, you’ll note a Stonesword Key locked path straight ahead, as well as another troll patrolling to the right.
Should you unlock the path (if you have a Stonesword Key), a Fanged Imp will drop from the ceiling and attack you, and a corpse on the back wall holds the Nox Mirrorhelm helmet. The troll can be snuck past if you monitor its patrol path, but be wary of two Fanged Imps on the platform above you.
You can also avoid making them hostile, just stick to the left wall as you climb the stairs and head to the passageway beyond. The room at the end of the small tunnel you pass through has a pressure plate right in the entryway, so you will have to carefully skirt around it or dodge-roll to avoid the volleys.
Two Fanged Imps are also in this room, so be careful to not get overwhelmed with their blood loss inducing attacks, and also not to trigger the trap by accident. In the alcove of the room, you’ll find Grave Glovewort (2). Be careful, as you can also lure the troll from the floor below with your fight against these Imps, so try to lure them down the corridor further into the catacombs rather than back the way you came.
Through the corridor you’ll arrive at the higher platform you could see going down the steps earlier, and take a left turn to enter a small alcove room with three Fanged Imps, one with a two-handed weapon. If you plan your movements and attacks, you can manage to knock one or two of them off the edge in the previous room, or line it up so they take hits from the arrow trap should you want to intentionally trigger it and dodge out of the way.
The body on the floor in this alcove holds the Scythe weapon, alongside a Grave Violet plant. Head back out (avoiding triggering the trap) and turn left to head down a narrow corridor. This has two Fanged Imps lurking on the ceiling and the wall, so be careful not to head in too quickly and get surrounded.
At the end, you’ll find some Grave Glovewort (2) and a corpse holding Golden Rune (3). Backtrack out and if you can sneak past the patrolling troll, there is a corpse with a Rune Arc tucked in the back corner on that level. Head then to the room with two levels interconnected by the flight of stairs with gaps on either side and drop down.
advertisement Here you’ll be facing another troll, though it can be snuck around if you land in a corner and crouch walk. It is crouching over a Trina’s Lily plant, should you wish to collect it (requiring the killing of the troll). Upon landing, head behind the wall to the north to grab the Prattling Pate (Wonderful), and then head down the passageway to the east.
Turn right, and you’ll encounter a room with a pressure plate in the middle. Beyond there will be another patrolling Troll, and you can use the pressure plate against it to get in some free hits. Turning right again, you’ll note a ladder in the alcove that is worth sprinting to. Climbing the ladder, turn right and you’ll emerge where the lever is to unlock the locked doors near the entrance of the Catacombs.
Once pulled, you can roll off the edge back onto the steps below, and backtrack through the Catacombs to reach the unlocked doors, and the mist wall at the bottom of the stairs beyond.

Is Radagon an optional boss?
Radagon of the Golden Order is a Boss in Elden Ring, This Elden Ring Radagon of the Golden Order Guide features boss locations, tips, strategies and videos on how to defeat Radagon easily, as well as boss stats and lore for Radagon. Radagon is a tall, fractured god wielding the hammer that shattered the Elden Ring, and is found in the Elden Throne,
He was previously married to Rennala, but became Queen Marika’s consort after Godfrey was exiled from the Lands Between. Completing Brother Corhyn & Goldmask’s quest to a certain point reveals that he is the “other half” of Queen Marika. Despite being of one body, the two do not share the same will, as evident from Radagon attempting to repair the Elden Ring after Marika had shattered it.
This boss is NOT optional as players must defeat him to reach the end of Elden Ring. As with many endgame bosses, Weapons, Incantations, and Spirit Ashes capable of inflicting Black Flame are highly recommended as they deal damage over time based on the boss’ maximum HP,
Be aware that depleting his health completely immediately takes you into the cutscene leading to the final boss fight – Elden Beast, If you die to the Elden Beast, you are required to fight Radagon again before reaching it. Bosses are unique and challenging Enemies that can be encountered all over the Lands Between.
Shardbearers drop their own unique Great Rune and Remembrance capable of being transformed into powerful Weapons, Spells, Ashes of War, and Talismans for the player. As the husband of Rennala of Caria, the red-haired Radagon studied sorcery, and as the husband of Queen Marika, he studied incantations.

Can you do Catacombs alone?
Compatibility – Cards from previous Clank expansions are compatible with Clank Catacombs, which is nice, but one thing, in particular, stood out to me. Clank Catacombs is compatible with the Adventuring Party expansion and includes rules for how to implement it. That’s important for two reasons. Building a cohesive and synergistic deck is as important as ever. It makes Clank Catacombs playable at player counts 5 and 6, and it also allows the use of the special characters found in Adventuring Party, and I really enjoy them. I do feel that the Invisibility Cloak item included in Adventuring Party seems like a poor fit for Clank Catacombs given the careful focus on navigation.
Negating monsters in tunnels is a bit too strong in Catacombs. Other than that, the whole thing translates over really well. I also want to point out that while the box says 2-4 players. You can play Clank Catacombs solo using Dire Wolf’s fantastic companion app, and I really recommend it. I’m a big fan of optional apps in board games.

Where do I find the catacombs Diablo 2?
Diablo 2 Monastery Barracks location explained – Once you’re done with Tools of the Trade, we recommend to open a town portal using a scroll to make it easier to come back here. But if anything, you can always use the waypoint to The Outer Cloister and go through The Barracks again. The first thing you’re going to do in Jail level 1 is find its waypoint, just in case you need to head to the town and don’t have a town scroll to use. From here, all you have to do is fight through the hordes of enemies until you eventually exit to The Inner Cloister.
This is a small area that mostly serves as an in between point. As such, activate the waypoint before leaving just in case you need to make a trip to the camp, as the next waypoint is a bit far away. Exiting The Inner Cloister will lead you to The Cathedral. Prepare to repel some forces from hell here, and get ready to descend. The Monastery Catacombs can be found after The Cathedral.
This is a large dungeon, so take your time exploring it. The Catacombs has a total of four levels to go through, and luckily, there is a waypoint in the second level. Make sure to activate the waypoint as the final boss of Act 1 awaits for you in the next level – resupplying and emptying your inventory are a must.
Upon your arrival to Catacombs level 4, the Sisters to the Slaughter quest will update with the objective to kill Andariel – this is it. It’s a tough fight, which is why is crucial to have activated the waypoint on the upper level as a plan B if things go south.
After you achieve victory, make sure to grab all the relevant loot, and return to the Rogue Encampment to either continue exploring or jump to Act 2. Welcome to Diablo!
