What level should I be Caria Manor?
Elden Ring: Caria Manor Walkthrough
Caria Manor Location – Caria Manor is in western Liurnia, north of the Kingsrealm Ruins and west of Bellum Church. If you’re in the swampy bits, there’s a path north of Tetsu’s Rise that leads north onto land, near Iji the blacksmith, Speak with Iji if you want some background about the manor and its inhabitants.
- He’ll warn you of the manor’s magical security system and recommends you stay away – advice you should mostly ignore.
- The manor’s defenses consist of blue magic bolts raining down from the sky at intervals, bolts that can quickly shred your health.
- You can move out of their way on Torrent as you approach the manor, but the easiest path forward is sticking to the right side of the road, near the cliffs,
The bolts don’t seem to strike there as often. Once you arrive at the manor entrance, the bolts stop. Touch the Site of Grace and restore your flasks if need be. Before going in, make sure you have fire of some kind – pots, spells, or grease. The giant hands inside are weak to fire, and it makes dealing with them much simpler.

Wolves, a Golden Seed, the Troll Knight Sword –
Head out this door from the Manor Upper Level site of grace. Image: FromSoftware/Bandai Namco via Polygon Behold! a Golden Seed in Caria Manor. Image: FromSoftware/Bandai Namco via Polygon The ladder here takes you up to walkways. The stairs lead you to a knight. Back at the Manor Upper Level site of grace, head out of the opening. Directly ahead, a Golden Seed rests beneath a glowing sapling. Wolves guard this area. Defeat them or sneak past them and head up the stairs ascending to the right until you see a wide staircase ahead of you with a large enemy standing guard.
- You can fight him if you like (he does drop the Troll Knight Sword when defeated), or you can head left to find a ladder that brings you to some upper ledges to the left.
- Follow those ledges while dispatching a few weak enemies in order to sneak behind the big guy if you don’t feel like sparring.
- You can also attack from the high vantage point, where his attacks are unlikely to reach you.
Just be careful of the sorcerers who aid him.

Where is Blaidd after Caria Manor?
Where does Blaidd go next? – The quest Blaidd gives you is short, but his role in the game continues after you defeat Darriwil and speak to him. You’ll have to continue to Caria Manor in northwest Liurnia of the Lakes to continue Blaidd’s story, which is heavily intertwined with Ranni the Witch’s.
- After initiating Ranni the Witch’s quest in Caria Manor, head to the Siofra River Well underground in Mistwood, not far from where you first met Blaidd. You’ll find him on the southern edge of the large Siofra River area and can speak to him about his quest for Nokron.
- Blaidd suggests you speak with Ranni’s servant Seluvis, which leads you to speaking with Sorceress Sellen. Speak to both and return to Blaidd for new dialogue about fighting Starscourge Radahn.
- When you arrive at Redmane Castle in southeast Caelid, Blaidd will be there to join in the fight against Radahn. You can speak to him, and summon him to assist in the battle.
- After defeating Radahn, you can find Blaidd at the Forlorn Hound Evergaol where you fought Darriwil.
- Blaidd’s last location is outside Ranni’s Rise when you complete Ranni’s questline.
What legendary weapon is in Caria Manor?
Elden Ring: Where to Find the Sword of Night and Flame – I’ve already recommended this weapon a few times, but it’s impossible to oversell its value. This sword’s unique abilities allow you to easily deal with waves of lesser foes or the biggest bosses in the game without having to equip extra gear or swap between spells.
- While you kind of have to build your character around this weapon to get the most out of it, the results are certainly worth the effort.
- This is absolutely the best Legendary weapon in the game.
- You can find this sword near the Manor Lower Level Site of Grace in Caria Manor.
- Travel to that site, and run across the nearby bridge until you reach a gap that allows you to drop onto a nearby roof.
On the other nearby roof is a ladder that will lead you to a chest. The sword is inside that chest.

Can you find ranni after finishing her quest?
Ainsel River, Nokstella and the Lake of Rot – When you give the Fingerslayer Blade to Ranni, she’ll thank you and give you the Carian Inverted Statue, Not a very exciting reward, though it is crucial to unlocking one of the game’s several endings, The following is a diversion from Ranni’s quest, but I’m including it here since it involves the Carian Inverted Statue that Ranni gives you.
Take the Inverted Statue to the Carian Study Hall and place it on the pedestal at the front of the hall. Walk up the stairs on either side of the pedestal, then fall down into the lift shaft and head through the doorway, where a couple of little-hand monsters will ambush you. You’ll find that the study hall has literally been turned upside down.
Your job is to platform down from the top of the hall, onto the chandeliers, then the beams of wood and finally onto a platform that will take you to Liurnia Tower Bridge, Your traversal will be obstructed by the Godskin Noble, a tough miniboss that you’ll have to get through.
- Your reward, once you get into the Divine Tower of Liurnia, is the Cursemark of Death,
- You can give this item to Fia in the Deeproot Depths to unlock a gnarly boss fight and ultimately give you an extra option for Elden Ring’s ending.
- Head to Renna’s Rise to continue the quest after giving Ranni the Fingerslayer Blade.
Bandai Namco/Screenshot by Daniel Van Boom You’ll find a teleporter in Renna’s chamber, which will send you to Ainsel River. Bandai Namco/Screenshot by Daniel Van Boom Back to Ranni’s questline: After giving Ranni the Fingerslayer Blade, head over to Renna’s Rise,
At the top of the tower you’ll find a transporter that takes you to Ainsel River Main, Once there, walk forward and you’ll find a Site of Grace. Nearby there’ll be an item to pick up, a Ranni the Witch Doll, Go back to the Site of Grace, take a rest and at the bottom of the menu you’ll see that you can “Talk to miniature Ranni.” Tap this option several times – the first few times you’ll get no response – and it’ll eventually ask you to destroy the Baleful Shadow,
Follow the river and you’ll find Uhl Place Ruins, with a floating worm creature that sends rocks crashing at you. Run under it and go southwest, through the Ainsel River, and you’ll discover Nokstella, Eternal City, It’s beautiful. It’s worth exploring this whole place, but for the purpose of this guide, destroy all the ants and sludge monsters on the river.
- Press forward and you’ll find an elevator shaft to the left that will take you further down into Nokstella’s depths.
- There you’ll find a Site of Grace, and a cave opening in front of you.
- Pass through and you’ll find an ominously red area where you’ll be attacked by the Baleful Shadow,
- Note that if you haven’t spoken to the Ranni doll, the Baleful Shadow will not appear.
Once you pick up the Miniature Ranni the Witch doll, you’ll have this option to speak to it at a Site of Grace. You’ll have to press this option several times to get a response. Bandai Namco The Baleful Shadow will spawn here if you’ve spoken to the Ranni doll enough times. Bandai Namco/Screenshot by Daniel Van Boom The Lake of Rot. Run northeast to find a huge temple with a Site of Grace inside. Bandai Namco/Screenshot by Daniel Van Boom Once you defeat the Baleful Shadow, you’ll get a Discarded Palace Key, which can be used to open the treasure chest in Raya Lucaria’s Grand Library to get the Dark Moon Ring,
- Move on from where you fought the Baleful Shadow and you’ll find a lift, which will let you descend to the Lake of Rot,
- There’s an optional boss that you can fight here – a Dragonkin Soldier, for which you’ll earn a Dragonscale Blade – but if you’re rushing, scurry diagonally across the Lake of Rot.
Obviously, it being a lake full of rot, your health will quickly start deteriorating as you run through. You can get around this by crafting and regularly consuming Preserving Boluses, or simply by replenishing your health with your Flask of Crimson Tears.
- Either way, get across the lake and into the huge temple and find the Site of Grace.
- Platform down to the bottom, clear the room of enemies and head towards the Grand Cloister temple.
- There’s loot inside there – a Scorpion’s Stinger dagger – but what we’re after is actually to the left of the entrance.
You’ll find a coffin, which transports you to a room of respite before a big boss. You’ll fight a giant scorpion freak: Astel, Naturalborn of the Voice, It’s a tough battle, since Astel is both large and fast, and will frequently distance itself from you by transporting itself to the other side of the arena. The hole in the ground is hard to see – it’s to the right of my character here. Bandai Namco/Screenshot by Daniel Van Boom A cathedral will be in your view, but you’ll be stopped by a Glintstone Dragon. Beat it, or run by it, inside the Cathedral of Manus Celes,
I chose to fight the dragon – it sucked. On the upside, you’ll get 120,000 runes for defeating it, plus three dragon hearts. There’s a Site of Grace inside, as well as a hard-to-see hole in the ground. Drop into the hole, and, you’ll find Ranni herself. Give her the Dark Moon Ring, and you’ll be rewarded with the Dark Moon Greatsword.
Congratulations, you’ve finished what may be Elden Ring’s biggest sidequest. As a post-quest bonus, if you return to Ranni’s Rise you’ll find Blaidd waiting for you, He’ll pick a fight with you. Kill him and you’ll get his armor. Then go to see Iji by the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and speak with him about Blaidd.

Is Ranni ending good or bad?
Ranni’s Age Of Stars Is Elden Ring’s Only Good Ending has six endings, and Ranni’s Age of Stars is the only true “good” ending, morally speaking. FromSoftware is known for creating ambiguous and open-ended conclusions for its games, but Elden Ring is an exception.
The game’s other endings are interesting and well-conceived, but they don’t paint the best picture of the player Tarnished, nor anyone involved in them. On the other hand, Ranni’s ending seems to set her up as the hero or savior of the Lands Between. Ranni the Witch, is one of Elden Ring’s most complex characters.
Her intentions aren’t immediately apparent and can seem somewhat ominous at times. This is made more difficult by some potential, After her quest line is completed, she explains her intentions, telling the Tarnished, ” Mine will be an order not of gold, but the stars and moon of the chill night.
- I would keep them far from the earth beneath our feet.
- As it is now, life, and souls, and order are bound tightly together, but I would have them at a great remove.
- In the Japanese translation, Ranni’s intentions are even more explicit; she seems to care more for the Lands Between’s well-being, something most Elden Ring characters lack.
According to, Ranni’s quote in the Japanese version reads, ” Even if life and souls are one with order, it could be kept far away. If it was not possible to clearly see, feel, believe in, or touch the order. That would be better. ” establishes free will for the residents of the Lands Between by removing the interference of Outer Gods like the Greater Will.
This is rather different from the outcome of the other endings. The opposite of the Age of Stars ending is the Lord of Frenzied Flame ending, which sees the Tarnished becoming the Lord of Chaos and burning the world to the ground. This is clearly the bad ending, as even Melina, the Tarnished’s companion throughout Elden Ring, warns against taking this path.
The other four endings are just variations of each other. All of them seemingly continue the influence of the Greater Will as they preserve the current power structure of an Elden Lord reigning over the Lands Between. The Fracture, occupy a moral middle ground between the Lord of Frenzied Flame and the Age of Stars.
